Total Climbing Elevation: 696

Notes: It's still winter, but it felt like summer with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60's to 70's. This a very nice state park with very good facilities, varied terrain and environments, and well-blazed and maintained trails. For those who want some exercise, there are quite a number of short to moderately long hills to get your heart pumping. Despite the early February cold-snap, we did see a few early spring wildflowers, mostly along the river and stream areas. Today's Hikers: Beth McDonald, John Cape, Ken Pardue, Claudia Pardue, Vic Robson, Jenny Bell, Bobbie Broussard, Allyson Aldrich, Edwin Pruitt, Mary Lu Norton, Dave Norton, Alicia Morris, Jack Treadman, Ken Kellerman & Cutie Pie & Mike Bell.
