| Today’s hike involved several shorter trails at Tallulah Gorge State Park. We hiked the Terrora Trail Lake Loop and Upper Loop, the Shortline Trail, and the South and North Rim Trails at the Gorge. We included the walk down the steps and across the gorge on the suspension bridge. We also stopped by for a visit at the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center.

TRAIL INFO. – All of the trails in the Tallulah Gorge State Park are extremely well-maintained. If you like awesome, breath-taking views, you will like this area. Directions: Tallulah Gorge State Park is located in the town of Tallulah Falls, GA. After crossing the 441 bridge, there is a parking area on the left (Terrora Park) or go about a quarter mile past the bridge and turn right onto Jane Hurt Yarn Rd. and drive to the Interpretive Center. Today’s hiking distance – 5.7 miles Another great day for a hike! Sunny with temperatures ranging from the upper 40’s to the mid 50’s F.
