This week’s hike was on the Panther Creek Trail near Tallulah Falls, GA. from Panther Creek Park to Panther Creek Falls and back. Total round trip – 7.2 miles.
HIKERS – John Bellamy, June Bellamy, Phil Brownrigg, Pam Euliss, Dave Hinson, Bill Hunt, Bruce O’Connor, Jeanne O’Connor, Don Preece, Tony Presley, Joe Raguckas, Vic Robson and Dan Ross. TRAIL INFO. The Panther Creek Trail is a beautiful hike along Panther Creek that starts at Panther Creek Park and ends near Yonah Dam. It includes great views of Panther Creek and rock cliffs along the way. Today’s hike was from the Park to Panther Creek Falls and Back. Total hiking distance today – 7.2 miles Directions: Take Highway 441 from Cornelia northward toward Tallulah Falls. After you pass Hollywood and Turnerville, turn left off of 441 and turn right on old 441 and continue to Panther Creek Park. Another great day for a hike!
