TRAIL INFO. – This was our first time hiking at Yonah Preserve. The trails here are primarily for hikers and mountain bikers. There are lots of trail options in this beautiful woodland tract of 1,000 acres with a beautiful lake and more trail development coming in the future. The terrain is very gentle with some rolling hills but nothing strenuous.

Total hiking distance today – 6 mi. with a few moderate hills. We rate it moderately easy with gentle hills.

Directions: Take Hwy 129 N out of Cleveland for about 2.5 mi and turn right on Albert Reid Rd. (old skating and bowling building) contine 2.3 miles to Yonah Preserve on the right.

Another great day for a hike! Clear and cool with temperatures from upper 40’s to upper 60’s F.

WILDFLOWERS IN BLOOM: none BIRDS : Crow, Nuthatch and Pileated Woodpecker.
