Bartram Trail – Highway 28 Bridge Southward – Rabun Co. GA

November 20, 2018

Today’s hike was on the Bartram Trail in Rabun Co. GA from the Highway 28 bridge southward beyond Adeline Ford.

HIKERS: Jenny Bell, Mike Bell, Greta Driggers, Jim Driggers, Andrea Evans, Tim Hale, Bill Hunt, Ray Lovett, Terre Pratt, Edwin Pruitt, Vic Robson and Betty Smith.

TRAIL INFO. – This is a very nice portion of the Bartram Trail. The trail crosses the West Fork of the Chattooga River on a nice iron bridge and continues parallel to the Chattooga on mostly flat terrain with a side trail on the old Adeline Ford Rd.

Another great day for a hike! Sunny and cool with temperatures ranging from 50-57F

BIRDS AND OTHER FAUNA: Crow and Black Snake & King Snake.
