Notes: A great day for our first hike of 2024 on a cold and clear day. This hike was last completed by the Old Friends Hiking Club on May 4, 2010. The trail was in excellent shape and seems to have regular maintenance including many large and small bridges. Nevertheless, there were several challenging inclines, mostly on the return half of the hike making this a moderately difficult hike. The reward of this hike is the scenic Thompson River with lots of rapids and their accompanying sounds. This hike is worth a return visit and would make a great springtime outing.
