HIKERS – John Bellamy, Jack Jacobi, Steve Jordan, Wayne Miller, Bob Presley, Dan Ross, Doug Russell, Gerald Shedd, Jack Slaton, Bob Thompson, and David Whitaker.

TRAIL INFO. – Our trail access was from Hale Ridge Road off of Hwy. 106 near Scaly Mtn. Parking is limited on the side of the gravel road.

Another beautiful hiking day! Partly Cloudy – temperature ranged from 68-74 degrees F. Hiking distance 8.4 miles total.

Wildflowers viewed – Asters, Pinesap, Lobelia, HEAL-ALL, Goldenrod, Tall Bluets, Golden Glow Sunflowers, Southern Harebells, White Snakeroot, Woods Asters, Horsse Balm, New York Ironweed, Black-eyed Susans, Joe Pye Weed.

Fauna identified – Toad, Garter Snake, Turkey Vulture, Chimney Swifts, Pileated Woodpecker, Blue Jay, White Breasted Nuthatch.
