Name: Yonah Preserve - Creek Trail, Sequoyah's Return and Cherokee Trail
Distance: 6
Difficulty: Easy
Total Climbing Elevation: 440
Type: Loop
Notes: Another good day for a hike with sunny skies and temperatures between 50-75 . The trail was dry and in good condition. We had 16 hikers today. This was the second hike since the "COVID Pause." Turner Reservoir is a nice feature along with a nice, but small set of rapids on Turner Creek which feeds the reservoir. You do have to go a short distance off the established trail to view these rapids. There were some wildflowers and a number of blooming trees along the way, although not as showy as some trails in North Georgia. The hike is easy with the length easily adjusted for any hiker's abilities.
